A long awaited update!

Well, it has been a few months now since we have posted on here. We have had quite a bit of things happen both bad and good. Since October, we have been busy doing the every day things of life mostly. We have been pretty busy with doing many things with our friends and family. We of course have done quite a bit of things with each other as well. Our Christmas was great as we got to have our own Christmas in our house and still got to see both of our families. We have recently joined a gym and have been really been working out alot. We have been trying to eat right and even cut out a lot of sweets (this is not fun by the way). We really do feel that what we have been doing is helping our bodies, we can feel the difference.

Perhaps the biggest change going on right now, is that back in Nov. Brandon got let go from D.R. Horton. With the down turn in the housing market, we thought it might happen but you still don't think it is going to happen until it really does. It was a big shock, but it has been a blessing at the same time. We have been able to get some things done around the house, and really have got to see just what great friends we have. They have all been such a blessing and have cared for us when we didn't ask. As for now, Brandon is still looking and just waiting, we still don't know what the next chapter will bring. We'll keep you posted on this and please pray with us.
Now on to some of the fun things we have been up to:
The State Fair
yup this goat is on the cow The Benson Mule Days parade
Finally, finished the shed (this is not the finished picture of course) Stained and finished the fence -Took two trips to Myrtle Beach-Decorated for Christmas(including some great looking lights on the house)

-Dedecorated for Christmas(Lily tried to follow me up the ladder as I was climbing into the attic, this was as high as she made it, it was really funny though) -Had 4 trick or treater's at Halloween (this is our neighbor Evan) And it snowed almost 6 inches yesterday!!!!

We found a big hill to sled down, right next to our neighborhood, it was really fun.Yup, that's Glenwood Ave. We just had to make sure to stop quickly and go down the hill when the light changed!!

Lily really loved the snow

These are just a few of the things that have been going on. We really have been great and truly blessed. Lily is doing great and is just as fun as always.
