Stats

We have a little peanut on our hands!  From about week 28 on in my pregnancy I measured a little behind.  The doctors never seemed to really worry about me/Adelaide being small but kept a close eye on it.  They did a few extra non-stress tests just to be sure she was doing okay in there and each time she scored good.  We got to see her a couple of extra times on ultrasound so that was fun!

One of the reasons they decided to go on and induce me was because she was still measuring small on ultrasounds and they wanted to go ahead and get her out into our world.  Well, when she was born she was 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 19.75 in., normal size for a newborn.  When Dr. Gunter first held her he said that she wasn't that small and that the ultrasounds must have calculated wrong.  We were so happy she was healthy.

At her doctor's appointments they measure her weight, height, and head circumference.  She has consistenly been on the low side of the scale compared to other babies her age.  I wanted to post her stats from each of her appointments so far to keep track of them over time.  She's our little girl, literally!

2 weeks:      7 lbs. 9 oz.                          19.25 in. (measured differently?)             13 1/2 in.
2 months:   10 lbs. (28%)                     21 in. (7%)                                                          14 1/2 in. (7%)
4 months:   12 lbs. 1 oz. (10%)           24 in. (30%) (mistake)                                  15 1/8 in. (5%)
6 months:   13 lbs. 7 oz. (7%)              24 in. (2%)                                                          15 1/2 in. (2%)

I think Miss Adelaide and Caden are turning out to be soulmates :) He would welcome another single digit percentage buddy :)
